Urban Hygiene

Product by Urban Hygiene

Wipe clean coating offers effective protection against graffiti and bacteria

A unique, hygienic wipe-clean coating, developed in the UK and now available worldwide, creates a permanent and cost saving seal against graffiti, abrasion and bacteria on all exterior and interior surfaces.

One coat of easy-on protects brick, stone timber, plaster and metals for up to 22 years, says supplier, Urban Hygiene.  Applied by brush, roller or spray, it forms a durable barrier from which paint and ink is easily removed with water or standard safe removal products.  So effective is the non stick finish that even bacteria such methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) cannot adhere to the surface and are easily removed with standard hospital cleaning products.
easy-on also repels dirt, oil, and water and is resistant to mould, fungi and chemical splashes.

The high performance removal of graffiti and heavy soiling from easy-on is due to the low surface energy of the coating, which leads to the repelling of any kind of graffiti, markers, or ink.
easy-on’s structure, formed during curing of the coating, prevents graffiti from penetrating into the layer and protects the surface underneath.
When applied over a conventional epoxy, acrylic, alkyd or latex coating, easy-on prevents the paint underneath from chalking, whereas without easy-on these paints show severe evidence of chalking after only a short weather  exposure time.

The coating may be applied to bare surfaces or existing sound coatings and dries with four hours, to leave a clear, seamless and durable finish with a coating structure comparable to glass. easy-on increases the life and colour stability of existing coatings; protects against abrasion and erosion; prevents damage from atmospheric pollutants; and improves hygiene.

Unlike existing epoxy or polyurethane systems, easy-on is formulated to withstand hundreds of cleaning operations and is the only coating in the world to be classified as permanent by the Centre for Corrosion technology at the UK’s Sheffield Hallam University.
In the event of a fire, the coating does not burn, generate smoke, or produce toxic fumes, making it particularly suitable for use in tunnels or occupied buildings where public safety is very important.

easy-on is already protecting buildings, tunnels,  and public transport systems around the world and is used on many internal and external surfaces of train units around the world.

easy-on is now available in Croatia. For your nearest distributor, check Urban Hygiene details on all major web search engines.
