The British Embassy, Zagreb, hereby calls for bids for the STRATEGIC PROGRAMME FUND REUNITING EUROPE (SPFRE), 2010/11

Bids are requested by 6th November 2009 and should be emailed to Savo.Orozovic@fco.gov.uk. These bids should be for projects which will begin no earlier than 1st April 2010.

We are seeking bids which fit one of the following Strategy objectives:

• to build capacity in public administration;
• to strengthen reforms in the justice sector and promote human rights;
• to strengthen economic reforms in line with the Lisbon Agenda.

This web page will also link you to a longer guidance note on completing a bid. We remain at your disposal for further information, but ask that you email Mr Orozović in the first instance.

On receipt of a concept bid, we will assess your proposal. We may contact you to obtain more information. In November we will then forward selected bids to our Programme Management Team in London, who will assess them. By mid December, we will be in a position to tell you of your bid has received initial approval, and we will then require a full bid which you will need to provide a full bid by mid January

Full bids will then be forwarded to the London Management Team for assessment; the SPFRE Board will sit in March 2010 and approved projects will be given the green light to begin from 1st April 2010.
